We first crossed paths at a mutual friend's birthday party. Our
friends couldn't resist teasing us since we were both unattached, joking that we should give dating a shot. Little did we know, that playful suggestion would set the stage for something truly remarkable.

I embarked on a journey of courtship that spanned several months until, finally, in November of 2019, she said yes. Our relationship blossomed, filling our lives with laughter, companionship, and a deepening connection.

Then came the unexpected challenge of 2020 and the onset of the Covid pandemic. Fate seemed determined to test us as I found myself stranded in the United States for about a year. Despite the physical distance between us, our bond only grew stronger through countless calls, messages, and virtual dates.

When I finally returned to the Philippines, it felt as though a missing piece of my heart had been restored. We cherished every moment spent together, grateful for the opportunity to make up for lost time. 

As the clock struck midnight on New Year's Eve 2022, surrounded by the hopeful energy of a new beginning, I knelt down and asked her to be my partner for life. The joy that filled her eyes as she said yes will forever be etched in my memory.

Our love story continued to unfold,  and in September of 2023 we received the most precious gift of all: the news that we were expecting a baby. The journey ahead is filled with excitement, anticipation, and infinite love. I can't help but marvel at the serendipitous path that brought us together and the profound joy she brings into my life. She is my confidante, my partner-in-crime, and my greatest source of happiness.
 

I simply can't imagine my life without her by my side.
